Hi
Today I was just wondering if I should switch over to 'Pay per second' plan from my '0.5 rupee per minute'. I couldn't really figure out which one was better. All I wanted to visualize it to be clear. And so here it is. An application that I made to visualize how the two plans cost with time.
(Refresh the page to see it again).
LEGEND:
Red Line - pay per second ( 0.01 Rupee per second).
Blue Line - 0.5 Rupees per minute.
Green Line - time where the 2 plans cost equal.
ANALYSIS:
As is clear from the graph, after ~200 second (the 4th green line) Red Plan never comes below Blue Plan (except for few seconds). It costs more than Blue Plan after that point and the difference between them only keeps on growing with time.
Before that, Red Plan costs less than the Blue one for most of the time being the best specially between 0-150 seconds (3rd green line).
VERDICT:
If you make calls that generally last for about 200 seconds or less, Plan Red is for you. But if you like to talk for long durations to your pals gossiping about the cricket match or last night party then Plan Red is certainly not for you...Go for Plan Blue. :D
Duration Plan
0-200 s Pay per second (RED)
>200 0.5 Rupee per minute (BLUE)

The caricature artist has awakened !!!
Hi all !
Well, I have recently started drawing caricatures. It started out as a requirement when I needed a caricature of me for my Tee. I realized I liked it and its so much fun doing this :D So from now on I would be practicing drawing caricatures and putting all of them right here. So stay tuned for more.
For the time being here is my second one :

New year's first post - 2011
A new year and a new decade has started. Its 2011 - year of new developments, creations, fun, gaming, chatting, surfing, and lots of opportunities and targets. This year has started with a trip to IIT-B's TECHFEST 2011 ( for the 3rd time :P ). It was a yet another great experience but with a twist. As there were no software events, I decided to take part in a mechanical event this time called FULCRUM - An event where we had to create a crane from ice-cream sticks :). I together with my friends Ankit and Nishant made a crane that was somewhat awesome being a first attempt though it failed to lift the required weight. Nevertheless, building it was fun and I enjoyed a lot. This is a pic of our crane.
And now back from TECHFEST, its time to dive into some serious stuff. Just to keep a record of what my plans are for this year, here is a list of it.
NOTE : These are in no order of priority.
Lets see how the year goes. All the best to all for their plans.
Happy New Year everyone !
Keep Flashing !
Cheers !
You can count the number of ice creams we had to eat ;) |

- More blogging, writing tutorials for blogs and forums.
- Be active on programming forums like actionscript.org, dreamincode.in etc

- Develop some AIR applications for the Intel AppUp store and Adobe Marketplace.
- Participate in as many GAME JAMs as possible. Cool thing >:D
